How we review Instapage

What this site is

Instapage Reviews is an independent review aggregator. We are not Instapage and we don't work for them. Our goal is simple: collect what real users say about Instapage across the platforms where they post it, then organize it so you can make an informed decision in a few minutes instead of an afternoon.

Where the reviews come from

We aggregated 48 published reviews across 6 platforms. We did not write, edit, or solicit any of them. Every review is the words of a real Instapage user, quoted from its original source:

• G2· Verified reviews from business users on G2, most of them from small and mid-sized teams.
• Capterra· Verified reviews on Capterra, the pool Gartner also shows on GetApp and Software Advice.
• Trustpilot· Open reviews on Trustpilot: invited ones praise support, unprompted ones raise billing.
• GetApp· Verified user reviews on GetApp, part of the Gartner Digital Markets network.
• Software Advice· Verified reviews on Software Advice, which shows the same reviewer pool as Capterra.
• TrustRadius· Long-form reviews on TrustRadius, where ratings are scored out of 10.

Instapage averages 4.4 across 1,300+ ratings on G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot. The reviews on this site are a hand-picked snapshot of that corpus, chosen to reflect its recurring themes, critical reviews included.

How we score and tag

Each review is tagged by sentiment (positive, mixed, or critical) and by audience (agencies or in-house teams), so you can filter to the perspective that matches you. The verdict score on the homepage is the count-weighted average of the platforms' own public ratings, using the counts listed above. Our snapshot skews toward written and critical reviews on purpose, so its plain average (4.1/5) can run lower than the platform-wide figure. Neither number is made up, and neither is weighted to flatter the product.

Review lists open sorted by "Most relevant": detailed, recent reviews that describe what Instapage did for the writer come first, drawn from a mix of platforms, and the critical ones come after. Switch the sort to Newest, Highest rating, or Lowest rating, or filter to Critical, to read them in another order. The order never changes the averages above, which count every review we show.

Why we publish critical reviews

A review site that only shows praise isn't a review site. We include the negative reviews on purpose: the billing complaints, the support frustrations, the edge-case bugs, all verbatim and unedited. Balance is the entire point. It's what lets you trust the positive reviews too.
